Rutgers New Jersey Medical School (RBHS Newark) seeks qualified candidates for Assistant or Associate Professor positions in Liver Disease and Transplant Hepatology. These are full-time academic roles involving inpatient and outpatient liver care and related gastroenterology procedures.

The ideal candidates will be board eligible/certified in Gastroenterology and Transplant Hepatology, with duties spanning patient care, teaching medical students and residents, and leading/grant-supported

Qualifications

• Board eligible/certified in Gastroenterology and board eligible/certified in Transplant Hepatology.
• MD/DO license or eligible for licensure in NJ.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient and outpatient care for liver disease and transplant hepatology patients.
• Perform gastroenterology procedures within training and scope.
• Participate in teaching and supervision of fellows, residents, and medical students.
• Lead investigator-initiated and grant-supported clinical research studies.
• Support expansion and enhancement of the liver transplant program.
