Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent).

• Two years of recent HEPA certification technician experience with leak/velocity testing.
• Alternative paths include HEPA training with related experience or approved apprentice programs.
• Ability to read HVAC drawings and interpret system layouts.

Responsibilities

• Perform and document HEPA Certifications of UARH, BSCs, AHU, and HEPA ME equipment.
• Conduct leak checks, velocity tests, particle counts, and airflow pattern tests per procedure.
• Maintain and manage equipment for HEPA certifications and related testing.
• Assist utilities techs to troubleshoot HVAC systems and adjust airflow conditions.
• Write and process safety permits and maintain compliant records.
