Job summary

Cencora is offering a paid ten-week virtual summer internship focused on health economic and outcomes research (HEOR). You will apply HEOR skills to generate real-world evidence demonstrating the value of therapies, working remotely with a national cohort of students.

You will gain hands-on experience in research design, SAS programming, and health outcomes strategy, while collaborating with leaders and learning about market access and policy.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a PhD or equivalent in HEOR or related field.
• Experience with SAS programming required; SQL knowledge preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with research design for HEOR projects.
• Work with large databases using SAS and SQL where applicable.
• Develop proposals, code lists (ICD/HCPCS/CPT), and study reports.
• Support dissemination through conference submissions.
