This role provides methodological leadership across the full span of HEOR evidence generation, including comparative effectiveness and pharmacoepidemiologic methods, systematic literature review and meta‑analytic techniques (network meta‑analysis and indirect treatment comparison), health technology assessment methodology, and cost‑effectiveness and economic modeling. The successful candidate will have deep expertise in causal inference methods for observational data (target trial emulation, active‑comparator new‑user design, marginal structural models), quantitative synthesis methods for building comparative evidence in the absence of head‑to‑head trials, and the construction and critique of decision‑analytic models (Markov, discrete event simulation, budget impact) used to support payer and HTA submissions. This person functions as the internal scientific authority ensuring that evidence generation, from observational study design through economic modeling, meets the rigor required for regulatory engagement, HTA body review, and payer value communication, while partnering closely with biostatistics, epidemiology, global market access, and external academic and consulting collaborators. Candidates should bring a strong publication record spanning comparative effectiveness, meta‑analytic, or health economic methods, direct experience building or critiquing cost‑effectiveness models and HTA dossiers (NICE, ICER, or comparable bodies), and the judgment to identify where methodological choices in any of these domains create downstream regulatory, payer, or scientific risk.
