Job summary

Air Evac Lifeteam is hiring a Helicopter Pilot for full-time EMS transport. You will work with medical experts to move patients safely, keep aircraft ready for dispatch, and maintain regulatory records.

The role rewards safety, teamwork, and ongoing training in a critical, life-saving environment. Minimum qualifications include FAA rotorcraft commercial certificate, instrument rating, class II medical, and substantial helicopter experience.

Qualifications

• Current rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate
• Helicopter instrument rating and Class II Medical Certificate required
• Total flight hours: 2,000; helicopter hours: 1,500
• PIC hours: 1,000; turbine helicopter hours: 1,000
• Night flight hours: 200 (aided or unaided)
• Weight limit 230 lb including flight gear

Responsibilities

• Transport patients with a medical team to and from locations and facilities
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches per manuals and regulatory requirements
• Maintain accurate Air Evac Lifeteam and regulatory documentation
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners
• Provide shift-change information to the next pilot and team per protocol
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training

Education

Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate

Helicopter instrument rating

Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate
