Job summary

Saddleback Memorial Medical Center is seeking a Hemodynamic Technician to join our surgical support team. This full-time role involves performing complex hemodynamic setups, monitoring, and interpretation under supervision, with emphasis on patient safety and teamwork.

Responsibilities include assisting the surgical team, maintaining equipment, ensuring aseptic technique, and upholding patient privacy. Requires AR/RT licensure, BLS/ACLS, and 3+ years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Three years hemodynamic tech or Respiratory Therapist experience required.
• Completion of Hemodynamic program or Respiratory program required.
• Proficient in medical terminology.
• Computer, internet, order entry and word processing experience preferred.

Pay Range*: $43.13/hr. - $62.55/hr.

Position Summary

This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the mission of Saddleback Medical Center. The Hemodynamic Technologist is responsible for providing surgical assistance in a safe, appropriate and effective manner under the direction of a Registered Nurse/MD, in compliance with the standards of practice. Additional responsibilities include but not limited to provision of availability/maintenance of equipment, adherence to aseptic technique, advanced knowledge of anesthesia procedures and support to patient flow within department. Provides support and communicates directly with surgical team and supervisory staff. The Hemodynamic Technologist must use effective oral communication and participate in aspects of documentation. In addition, the Hemodynamic Technologist collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure safe and effective patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes.

*Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, relevant years of experience and qualifications.
