Job summary

UHS Dialysis Southeast invites a Hemodialysis Tech II to join our team. The role will coordinate with the Clinic Manager and the Department Nurse Educator to train both newly hired and existing staff on UH policies and dialysis theory for ESRD patient care.

The successful candidate will initiate clinical floor training, integrate procedures, ensure patient safety, and uphold compliance while contributing to a culture of exceptional service and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• PCT with at least 1 year hemodialysis experience in the last 24 months required.
• CCHT certification required.
• Current American Heart Association BLS and Healthcare Provider card required.

Responsibilities

POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES

The Hemodialysis Tech II position will coordinate with the Clinic Manager and Department Nurse Educator in the training process for all newly hired and existing staff members. The Hemodialysis Tech II is responsible for initiating all clinical floor training that teaches and integrates UHpolicies, procedures and dialysis theory for the treatment of ESRD (End-Stage Renal Disease) patients for all dialysis clinical floor position.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• A high school diploma/GED or higher is required
• Must be a PCT with at least a year of experience in hemodialysis within the last 24 months
• CCHT certification is required
• Must have current American Heart Association, Basic Cardiac Life Support and Healthcare Provider card
