Position Summary

The Host ensures all restaurant guests are greeted, made to feel welcome, and seated in a friendly and courteous manner.

Essential Functions
  • Supports a strong commitment to world-class customer service.
  • Greets all restaurant patrons immediately upon their arrival.
  • Inquires about the number of guests, maintains wait lists, and communicates wait times.
  • Assigns guests to server stations fairly; takes guests to their station with menus and seats them.
  • Controls guest volume at the entrance; attends to and anticipates guest needs while waiting.
  • Answers questions about the menu, restaurant, and Bass Pro Shops.
  • Handles phone inquiries and books reservations.
  • Performs opening and closing duties, assists with pre-bussing and table setup.
  • Acknowledges and thanks guests upon departure.
  • Maintains restrooms throughout the shift.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.
Experience/Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Experience in and passion for customer service.
  • Willingness to learn and be a team player.
  • Flexible and mindful of team dynamics.
  • Follows proper procedures per SOPs.
  • Ability to memorize menu items.
  • Works well with others, prioritizes tasks, and maintains guest satisfaction.
  • Motivated, takes pride in work, stays calm and organized during busy times.

Regular walking, standing, lifting (up to 50 lbs), bending, and stooping.
