Job summary

RON SUNSHINE ASSOCIATES LLC in East Texas (Tyler Area) is seeking a Board-Certified Hematopathologist to join a collaborative, physician-led pathology group serving a large regional healthcare system. The role offers a diverse mix of hematopathology and solid tumor cases with close oncology collaboration.

Both experienced pathologists and fellows are encouraged to apply, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and quality patient care.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board certification in AP or AP/CP required or equivalent.
• Fellowship training or subspecialty expertise in hematopathology.
• Eligibility for unrestricted Texas medical licensure.
• Strong communication and a team-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic interpretation in hematopathology and related subspecialties.
• Collaborate closely with oncologists, clinicians and pathology colleagues.
• Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions as appropriate.
• Contribute to quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support a team-based, patient-centered approach to pathology services.
