Job summary

6 Degrees Search seeks a Board-Certified Hematopathologist for a community hospital-based pathology practice in East Texas. The position provides a diverse mix of hematopathology and solid tumor cases with close oncology collaboration.

Both experienced pathologists and fellows are encouraged to apply. A team-oriented, patient-centered approach is emphasized within a collegial, physician-led group.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Board certification in AP or AP/CP.
• Fellowship in Hematopathology or subspecialty expertise.
• Eligible for unrestricted Texas medical licensure.
• Strong communication and a team-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic interpretation in hematopathology and related subspecialties.
• Collaborate closely with oncologists, clinicians, and pathology colleagues.
• Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions as appropriate.
• Contribute to quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support a team-based, patient-centered approach to pathology services.
