Job summary

Antech Diagnostics is seeking a Hematology Technician I to perform cytology accessioning, staining, and laboratory testing. You will prepare samples, set up instruments, run tests, and read and release results. The role emphasizes accuracy, adherence to SOPs, and teamwork in a fast-paced veterinary lab.

Work schedule is 10am–6:30pm, Monday–Friday. The position offers competitive benefits and growth opportunities within a Mars Diagnostics organization.

Qualifications

• Laboratory procedures in hematology and cytology.
• Attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced lab.
• Strong data entry and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Build CBC/UA loads, slide preparation and staining.
• Assist with prepping Avian/Exotic specimens as requested.
• Perform blood smears and re-checks as directed using LTP.
• Manage the LTP process and ensure quality control per QA guidelines.
• Read and follow SOPs and maintain a clean, organized work area.
