Job summary

The Ohio State University seeks a Research Associate 1 to design, execute, and manage preclinical hematology/oncology research in the Biomedical Research Tower. You will work under the PI Chunhua Song to implement studies, analyze data, and prepare research manuscripts for publication.

You will participate in grant writing, management of lab safety, procurement of supplies, and presenting results at conferences. A background check may be required post-offer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in biological/health science or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Three years of relevant biological/health research experience required.
• Experience with patient-derived xenograft mouse models for T-ALL and preparation of patient samples preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, execute, and manage research projects in hematology/oncology lab.
• Develop and implement experimental designs and data analysis methods.
• Prepare grant proposals and manage lab budgets and safety procedures.
