Job summary

Health Wealth Safe in Hartford, CT is seeking a Hematology Physician to provide specialized hematology care with a mix of malignant and non-malignant cases, including 60-minute new patient visits and 20-minute follow-ups, four clinical days and one admin day per week.

You will diagnose and manage hematology conditions, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, participate in quality initiatives, and contribute to high-quality patient care in a collaborative setting.

Job Title:

Hematology Physician

Role & Responsibilities:

Provide specialized hematology care with a patient mix of 60% malignant and 40% non-malignant cases. Conduct 60-minute new patient visits and 20-minute follow-ups. Participate in a balanced schedule with four clinical days and one administrative day per week. Handle a light call rotation of 1:8 weekdays/weekends, supported by Advanced Practice Providers during inpatient and weekend coverage. Offer high-quality patient care in a collaborative setting, maintaining a focus on both malignant and non-malignant hematologic conditions.

Qualifications & Skills:

Board-certified or eligible in Hematology/Oncology. Open to experienced physicians and new graduates. Excellent communication, clinical, and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively within a team and support patient-centered care.
