Job summary

The Hershel 'Woody' Williams Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Huntington, WV, is seeking a BE/BC Hematology/Oncology physician for its Hematology/Oncology Department. The physician will provide medical care to US Veterans and join a team at the medical center.

Compensation includes a base salary of 350K–400K, sign-on incentive, loan forgiveness, and comprehensive benefits. Schedule Monday–Friday 8:00 am–4:30 pm with strong support from nurses and mid-level providers.

Qualifications

• BE/BC Hematology/Oncology physician with unrestricted MD/DO license.

Responsibilities

• The physician will perform or assist in related procedures.
• Supervision of oncology fellows (Providing guidance, oversight, and support to physicians who are in advanced training to become oncologists).
• The physician works as a member of the Hematology/Oncology Medical team at the Hershel "Woody" Williams campus of the Huntington VA Hospital.
