Dignity Health Medical Group – Dominican in Santa Cruz, CA is seeking a Hematologist/Oncologist to join our patient-centered program. You will lead and grow our established oncology service within the Solari Cancer Center, providing expert hematology and oncology care with autonomy and collaboration.

This role offers leadership potential, with weekly tumor boards, multidisciplinary rounds for our 17-bed inpatient unit, and access to genetic counselors, trials, and comprehensive care resources.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
• Board certification or eligibility in Hematology/Oncology
• Active or eligible license in California
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the oncology program within the Solari Cancer Center
• Lead weekly Tumor Boards and participate in multidisciplinary rounds for the 17-bed inpatient unit
• Collaborate with leadership to shape clinical protocols and expand oncology service lines
• Provide autonomous, high-quality hematology/oncology care within a patient-centered framework
• Mentor staff and contribute to a positive, mission-driven culture
