Job summary

Ascension is seeking a Hematologist/Oncologist to join the Indianapolis campus for inpatient and outpatient care. This full-time employed role supports a growing cancer program, with access to advanced facilities and a call schedule designed to balance patient care and physician well-being.

Board-certified/eligible physicians with hematology/oncology fellowship, Indiana licensure, and MD/DO qualifications are welcome.

Qualifications

• MD/DO required and Indiana Medical Licensing Board license obtained prior to hire.
• Fellowship training in Hematology/Oncology.
• Board certification or eligibility in Hematology and Medical Oncology.
• Advanced Life Support preferred (AHA/Red Cross accepted).

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate medical care and treatment in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients using evidence-based practices.
• Join an established team of physicians and APPs with a 1:3 call structure transitioning to 1:6.
• Practice within a nonprofit health system with access to state-of-the-art facilities.
