Job summary

Cherry Hill Free Clinic, Inc. in Martinsville, VA, seeks a Hematologist/Oncologist to provide comprehensive cancer and blood disorder care in a community-focused setting.

You will work in outpatient and inpatient Oncology/Hematology, participate in tumor boards and clinical trials, and collaborate with APPs, radiology, pharmacy, and lab staff to coordinate treatment plans. A supportive, low-turnover team awaits.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or eligible in Hematology/Oncology.
• Strong communication and collaborative skills.
• Experience with outpatient clinics and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient and inpatient oncology and hematology services.
• Participate in bi-weekly tumor board meetings and clinical trials.
• Manage a patient load of 25-30 outpatient visits daily.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including APPs, radiology, pharmacy, and lab staff.
• Refer inpatient cases to regional academic centers and maintain relationships with tertiary hospitals.
• Utilize Aria Oncology information system for patient management.
