Job summary

Med Source Consultants in Fort Collins, CO is seeking a Physician – Hematology Oncology to join a premier cancer care and hematology clinic. You will provide direct patient care for leukemia, lymphoma, and myeloma, and collaborate with a nine-physician team and support staff to deliver disease-specific care.

You will practice with EPIC EMR, participate in clinical research, and offer consultations and treatment plans for complex cases.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) in Hematology and Oncology
• Active Colorado medical license required or willingness to obtain
• DEA registration required prior to start

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for individuals with various types of cancer and hematological disorders
• Work alongside a team of physicians and APPs to deliver disease-specific care
• Collaborate with nurse navigators and care managers to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care
• Stay at the forefront of innovative treatments and technologies in the field of oncology
• Utilize EPIC EMR system to document and manage patient care across the healthcare system
• Participate in clinical research and apply new treatment methodologies
• Offer consultations, second opinions, and treatment plans for complex cancer cases
• Minimal call responsibility, shared with other clinicians
• Minimal weekend coverage required
• DEA registration required prior to start
