Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Health System is seeking a Hematology/Oncology physician to join a multidisciplinary team in Boise, ID. This role offers the opportunity to practice within a QOPI certified, full-spectrum oncology program with a focus on patient-centered care.

You'll be part of a vibrant community that supports outdoor activities and has a low cost of living. The role requires an MD or DO, and offers a flexible work schedule of M-F with 32 patient contact hours per week and shared weekend call.

Qualifications

• Valid controlled substance registration with Board of Pharmacy and DEA.
• Hold Oregon and Idaho medical licensure.
• Open to considering Visa candidates.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive oncology care as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Collaborate in tumor boards with fellowship-trained surgeons.
• Engage in community and outpatient practices with inpatient coverage.

Skills

Board certification in Medical Oncology/Hematology

Strong communication skills

Experience with clinical trials

Education

Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO)

Completion of ACGME/AOA Internal Medicine residency

Completion of Medical Oncology/Hematology fellowship
