Job summary

U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs seeks physicians eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP). This position requires the Doctor of Medicine degree or equivalent, a current full license to practice in the United States, and VA-approved residency training leading to board eligibility.

Qualifications

• MD degree or equivalent required.
• Current full and unrestricted license to practice medicine in US/DC.
• Residency training approved by VA (ACGME/AOA) for board eligibility.
• Alternate pathways accepted (1 year post-medical school + 2 years independent practice).
• Non-US residency with 3+ years US independent practice accepted if properly trained.
• Residents in approved programs may be eligible as Physician Resident Providers (PRP).
