Job summary

Sheridan Memorial Hospital’s Welch Cancer Center seeks a full-time Board Certified/Eligible Medical Oncologist/Hematologist to join our team. You will collaborate with another oncologist and a nurse practitioner to provide comprehensive cancer care in a state-of-the-art clinic.

The position offers weekday hours from 8 AM to 5 PM with on-call duties shared as part of a collaborative team, supporting work-life balance in a community hospital setting in Sheridan, WY.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree.
• Successful completion of ACGME or AOA accredited post-graduate training in Internal Medicine, followed by Fellowship in Medical Oncology and Hematology.
• Current, unrestricted WY license, DEA, and CSR (assistance with licensing if not yet received).
• Board Certification in Hematology and Medical Oncology (or active certification process).
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside a second full-time oncologist and an advanced practice clinician from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.
• Share on-call duties as part of the team approach to support work-life balance.
