MyStethi, LLC in New Jersey seeks an Oncology physician to lead clinical care within the RWJ Barnabas Health and Rutgers Cancer Institute network. The role reports to the Regional Medical Director and Chief Medical Officer, focusing on comprehensive oncology care and program leadership.

The position emphasizes 5 days weekly outpatient practice and hospital coverage, with night and weekend calls, patient navigation, teaching, and active involvement in committees and program development.

Responsibilities

• Clinical care for Oncology patients in the practice.
• supervision and medical management of Infusion Center services.
• attend and provide clinical care as attending for patients.
• support the hematology oncology program within the Southern Region for patient care and research.
• take night and weekend calls for the Oncology Service as scheduled.
• spend 5 days a week in outpatient practice and hospital coverage.
• navigate patients to services at hospitals and RCINJ network.
• participate in teaching delegated by leadership.
• participate in department and hospital committees and activities.
• assist outreach to educate PCPs and Sub-Specialists on Oncology services.
• work with case management to address denials and facilitate dialogue with Managed Care.
• assist the CDI team for Oncology Services.
• participate in educational programs and administrative functions.
• participate in Tumor Boards and coordinate with RCINJ.
