Ascension Saint Agnes Cancer Institute in Baltimore, MD, is seeking an experienced hematology/oncology physician for an employed, outpatient role within a leading cancer program. You will join a collaborative team of six physicians and four APPs, with a 1:6 weekend call and access to on-site Radiation Oncology, care navigation, and social work resources.

The role offers a competitive base salary, sign-on, relocation assistance, CME allowance with dedicated CME days, and malpractice tail coverage

Qualifications

• Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Maryland Board of Physicians obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology/Oncology.

Responsabilités

• Provide expert clinical leadership and oversight for the Immunotherapy Clinic and chemotherapy infusion area, ensuring patient safety during treatments and serving as the immediate medical anchor for the nursing team during complex reactions or emergencies.
• Exercise clinical autonomy by managing a rewarding, diverse panel of general hematology and oncology cases, with the full backing and resources of the institute to cultivate or maintain your subspecialty passions.
• Collaborate with the Oncology team to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care in a multidisciplinary setting.
• Advise and participate in program development to maintain excellence in outpatient cancer care.

Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO)
