Join Our Esteemed Oncology Team in Worcester, MA!

We are seeking an experienced Internal Medicine - Hematology and Oncology Physician to join our dedicated medical staff at a leading healthcare facility in Worcester, Massachusetts. Our practice is known for its commitment to patient care and excellence in oncology treatments. Job Responsibilities:

• Provide quality care to patients in an outpatient setting.
• Conduct patient consultations and evaluations, managing a daily caseload of 15 to 18 patients.
• Engage in rounding, typically attending to an average of 5 patients per shift.
• Participate in clinical call as needed, with both assigned and unassigned call types.
• Collaborate with support staff, including Nurse Practitioners and medical assistants.
• Maintain accurate medical records using ONCO EMR in the clinic and Cerner in the hospital.
• Ensure all patient admissions are handled in a timely manner.
• Supervise and mentor advanced practice providers as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in Internal Medicine - Hematology and Oncology.
• Active and clean medical license in Massachusetts.
• Exceptional patient care and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing patient needs.
• Experience in both outpatient and inpatient settings is preferred.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Must possess a valid and unrestricted medical license in MA.
• Board Certification is required.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications are preferred.
