Job Opportunity: Internal Medicine - Hematology and Oncology Physician

Join a dynamic healthcare team in Stevens Point, WI, where you can make a difference by providing comprehensive care in both outpatient and inpatient settings. This facility is committed to delivering high-quality services, including advanced oncology care, with access to radiation oncology services and top-tier equipment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide full-time and ongoing medical coverage starting ASAP.
• Work Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.
• Conduct outreach to Stevens Point two days a week (T-W).
• Collaborate with one other department oncologist and three nurse practitioners.
• Participate in call rotation, two weeks per month, shared with other providers.
• Perform necessary procedures, including bone marrow biopsies and intrathecal chemotherapy.
• Utilize the Intellidose TxM system for prescribing.

Qualifications:

• Board Certification in Internal Medicine - Hematology and Oncology required (eligible candidates accepted).
• Completion of a fellowship in Hematology/Oncology is mandatory.
• Experience in providing cancer care in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Active medical license required for practice.
• Hospital privileges required (temporary privileges available).
