Seeking a BE/BC Hematology Oncology Physician

Join our community hospital-based medical oncology practice in Springfield, Missouri.

Practice Details

• Hours: 8:00am-4:00pm, five days per week, outpatient setting
• Integrated with radiation oncology and outpatient infusion services in the same building
• Multidisciplinary team includes nurse navigation, social services, and financial counseling
• Patient volume: approximately 15 to 18 patients per day
• Supervision: one advanced practice provider
• Research support: strong in both commercial and academic trials
• Outreach clinics to underserved communities are possible
• Case mix: equally split between hematology and oncology
• Consults on oncology inpatients admitted to hospitalists; no inpatient chemotherapy supervision
• EMR system: Cerner PowerChart with NCCN chemotherapy templates
• Call: 1-5
• Focus on work-life balance
