Seeking a board-eligible/board-certified Hematologist/Medical Oncologist to join a well-established team at Swedish Cancer Institute's growing First Hill Hematology and Cellular Therapy Program. Swedish is a leading site in the Pacific NW and in the US for early phase clinical trials in hematologic diseases.
Physicians within this FACT-accredited hematologic malignancy program focus on clinical care of patients from Washington, Oregon, Alaska, Hawaii, Idaho with blood cancers who may also need cellular therapies such as autologous stem cell transplant, CAR T cell therapy, and investigational cell therapies. The team aims to bring novel therapies like CAR-T and other immunotherapies to patients in need.
Be part of groundbreaking research and provide meaningful care in Seattle, Washington. An ideal candidate will be comfortable with hematologic malignancies, non-malignant hematology (classical/benign heme), autologous stem cell transplant, and cellular therapy. Experience in a collaborative multidisciplinary environment is preferred. There is potential to focus on one of the following areas: classical hematology & myeloid stem cell disorders (MDS, MPNs, acute leukemias), plasma cell disorders (myeloma, amyloid), or mature lymphoid malignancies (CLL, B-cell and T-cell lymphomas).
