Job summary
Live Well Homecare is seeking a Hematology-Oncology Physician for locum tenens support in a hospital setting. You will diagnose, stage, and treat hematology/oncology patients, with infusion therapies and comprehensive cancer care.
Credentialing takes 30–60 days and we provide travel, lodging, and insurance arrangements to support a smooth assignment in California, using iKnowmed and Cerner EMR systems.
Qualifications
- Board certified or eligible in Oncology or Hematology.
- ACLS certification.
- California license to practice medicine.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, stage, and treat hematology/oncology patients in a hospital setting.
- Deliver infusion therapies, chemotherapy, immunotherapy, transfusions, and supportive care.
- Utilize EMRs (iKnowmed, Cerner) for documenting care and coordinating across teams.
- Credentialing and logistical support for locum tenens arrangements.

Diagnose, stage, and treat hematology and oncology patients, including procedures such as infusion therapies, chemotherapy, immunotherapy, blood transfusions, hormone therapy, antibiotics, rheumatoid arthritis injections, and therapeutic phlebotomies.
Manage all aspects of patient care related to hematology and oncology, utilizing EMRs like iKnowmed and Cerner, and ensuring comprehensive symptom management and precision medicine.
Board Certified or Eligible in Oncology or Hematology, with Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification, and licensure in California.
Clinical expertise in hematology and oncology, proficiency in EMR systems, and ability to handle a broad range of treatments and procedures.
- Practice hours are Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm.
- Provides comprehensive patient care in a hospital environment, including infusion services.
