Job summary

AMN Healthcare seeks a Hematology-Oncology physician for locum tenens support in Eureka, CA. This role covers inpatient and outpatient settings with clinic hours Monday–Friday and an on-call schedule.

Active California medical license is required, with board certification or eligibility within 3–5 years. EMR is Epic; BLS and DEA registrations are required. Start ASAP with 10 shifts available.

Responsibilities

• Full-time locum tenens Hematology-Oncology physician role.
• Schedule: Monday–Friday clinic hours with On-Call schedule.
• Inpatient and outpatient duties with an attached chemotherapy treatment center and hospital.
• Hematology and Oncology cases with approximately 12–15 patients per shift.

This facility is seeking a Hematology - Oncology Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details and requirements for this opportunity:

• Schedule: Full-time need; Monday through Friday clinic hours, On-Call Schedule
• Practice Setting: Inpatient and outpatient; oncology clinic attached to chemotherapy treatment center and hospital. Approximately 12-15 patients per shift.
• Type of cases and required procedures: Hematology and Oncology cases.
• Credentialing timeframe: Active license required.
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Epic
• Certifications required: Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association; Drug Enforcement Administration registration required.
• Licensure required: Active California medical license required. Board Certified or Board Eligible within 3-5 years of residency.
