Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Hematology Oncology Physician, you will join an established practice in the beautiful community of Pendleton, OR. With the retirement of an established Hematology Oncology Physician in our community, we have an opportunity to step into an established practice and continue to care for our community. Our great support staff, are an invaluable asset in any workplace, fostering a positive environment and leading to enhanced productivity and job satisfaction and patient satisfaction. Our cancer support team professionals are trained in chemotherapy administration and care for breast, colon, lung, esophageal, endometrial, uterine, prostate and other cancers.

Every day you will provide compassionate and expert care, conducting thorough assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support the holistic well‑being of patients and their families.

To be successful in this role, you will be a skilled, board‑certified, and compassionate Hematology Oncologist, possessing expertise in diagnosing and managing complex diseases, alongside strong communication abilities. You will also demonstrate a deep commitment to patient‑centered care and the capacity to thrive within a collegial and supportive environment. Candidates should be interested in growing our newly established practice, while forming good relationships with our existing employed physician referral network. As part of our team, you will work alongside local and regional cancer care specialists, all dedicated to improving quality, enhancing patient experience, and advancing clinical standards for those we serve.

Job Requirements
  • Medical Degree
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology and Oncology (ABIM)
  • Oregon State Medical License and DEA in good standing prior to start date
  • Current AHA and BLS Certification
