Southwest Missouri Clinic is seeking a full-time (or part-time) BE/BC Hematology-Oncologist to join their well-established, Commission on Cancer-accredited cancer center. The facility is a modern five-year-old, 240-bed hospital with an integrated cancer center focused on individualized care for cancer patients.
Responsibilities and Team
- Join a team including 3 Hematology-Oncologists, 2 full-time Oncology Nurse Practitioners, and 1 Radiation Oncologist.
- Work with Nurse Navigators involved in cancer care, and 4 dedicated oncology nurses in the clinic.
- Maintain a 1:4 call schedule with a 4-day work week.
- Position available due to physician retirement, allowing for a quick practice ramp-up.
- Participate in a CoC-accredited comprehensive community cancer program.
- Provide call coverage for only one hospital attached to the clinic.
- Attend weekly multidisciplinary tumor board meetings on-site.
- Work in a clinic adjacent to the Infusion Center with an on-site pharmacy.
- Engage in active research programs, including clinical trials through the NCI and Guardian Research Network, with opportunities to open industry trials and author manuscripts.
- Possibility for teaching affiliation with Kansas City University, including supervising medical students with a stipend.
- Utilize the EPIC EHR system system-wide.
- Leadership opportunities are available.
- Work with most needed specialties integrated and on-site, ensuring a diverse case mix from the catchment area.
- Part-time positions will be considered.
The Clinic Offers
- Two-year guarantee of $600,000, plus $50,000 in recruitment incentives.
