A leading healthcare provider is seeking a Board Certified Hematology/Oncology professional for ongoing coverage in Michigan City, Indiana. The role involves outpatient care with a supportive staff and a manageable patient volume. Candidates must have an active Indiana license and DEA, along with specific qualifications in chemotherapy and emergency response.
Qualifications
- CV must be in Month / Year format.
- Active IN License and DEA or IMLC LOQ.
Responsibilities
- Coverage needed Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm.
- Outpatient setting with patient volume of 20-25 patients per day.

Chemotherapy treatment plans
Education
Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology
- Coverage Needed:
- As soon as credentialed - ongoing
- Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm
- Clinic + call
- Clinical Information:
- Outpatient setting
- EMR: EPIC
- No Call or rounding
- Skills/Procedures: Knowledge of NCCN guidelines, Emergency response skills from side effects of medication, Chemotherapy treatment plans
- Patient Volume: 20-25 patients per day
- Support Staff: 5 RN's, 2 MA's, 1 Patient Service Representative
- Required:
- CV must be in Month / Year format
- Must have license in hand at time of submission, or proof that the license application has been submitted
- Any gaps greater than 30 days will require an explanation on the CV
- DEA must remain in state to maintain privileges. Provider must be willing transfer and maintain DEA in state for the duration of privileges being active, or obtain a new in state DEA to remain in state for the duration of privileges being active
- Active IN License and DEA or IMLC LOQ
- Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology
