A leading healthcare facility in Louisville is seeking a locum tenens physician specializing in hematology to provide support in a clinic setting. The role involves seeing primarily hematology patients with opportunities for additional shifts. Candidates must have a hematology fellowship and relevant certifications. This position offers flexible scheduling and the chance to work alongside a dedicated support staff.
Hematology & Oncology - Hospital is in search of a Locums to support the employed physicians with additional support and to provide additional services.
We are looking for a provider to start in September/October with continued support into 2026. We are seeking someone who can provide at least one week per month and would accept more if available.
Shifts available: Orientation, 8-Hr Day Shift
Setting: Clinic Patient care with no call.
Schedule: Would consider Locums for 3-5 shifts per week, every other week.
Privileges: Full Privileges
All compliance and privileging will be due to Baptist 30 days prior to a start date to be approved by the Board.
Credentials Accepted: Physician (MD/DO)
Board level: BC Hematology
Hematology Fellowship: Required or equivalent experience preferred
Additional Certifications: BLS, ACLS, DEA Certificate
Workload: Primarily Hematology Patients
Skills/Procedures: Hematology and blood disorders
Other Role Notes: Provider would not take oncology patients unless an urgent matter and would not change or administer oncology care or prescriptions.
