Qualifications

• Certification in Oncology is required.
• Experience in inpatient oncology settings preferred.
• Ability to work on a Tumor Board.

Practice Setting: Inpatient Oncology Unit Reason for Coverage: Coverage while we recruit Retirement Dates of Coverage: ASAP-6 months with opportunity to extend Call Schedule: overnight telephonic call (rotating) Call Ratio: approx 1:8 Patient Population for Required Coverage: Adult, Geriatric What Percentage of the Practice is Hematology %, Oncology %, Internal Medicine %?: Hem 60% Onc 40% IM 0% Number of Physicians in Practice: 7 Will There be Radiation Oncologists Present During Locum Tenens Coverage? yes How Many APPs Provide Coverage: 1 dedicated for inpt coverage: 11 total some round on the weekends Average Number of Patients Per Day - HOSPITAL (Call/Rounding) :variable -approx 5-20 Clinical Area: Oncology - Inpatient Setting, Hematology - Inpatient Setting Trauma Level/Designation (Hospital): level one Documentation System/EMR: Epic Administration of Chemotherapy: Nurse oncologist Facility reimburse for the following costs: Provider Must be local - only mileage is reimbursed Required Procedures:
