AccessHealth in eastern North Carolina is seeking a Hematology/Oncology Physician to join a leading multi-specialty practice. The role focuses on outpatient Hem/Onc services at a well-established Cancer Center with a strong support staff.

You will work with two Hem/Onc physicians and three APPs, manage outpatient consults, and contribute to patient-centered care for adults 18+. There is emphasis on referral development with community surgeons.

Qualifications

• MD degree required with licensure eligibility in North Carolina.
• Board-eligible or certified in Hematology/Oncology.

• Provide outpatient Hematology/Oncology services at a well-established Cancer Center.
• Manage outpatient consults with light inpatient admissions handled by hospitalists.
• Collaborate with a team of 2 Hem/Onc physicians and 3 APPs.
• Contribute to patient-focused, individualized care for adult patients (18+).
• Build and maintain referral relationships with community surgeons.

• Providing outpatient Hem/Onc services at a well-established Cancer Center with 12 chemotherapy bays and dedicated lab.
• Managing primarily outpatient consults with light inpatient admissions, handled by hospitalists.
• Collaborating with a team of 2 Hem/Onc physicians and 3 APPs in a supportive environment.
• Contributing to patient-focused, individualized care for adult patients (18+), excluding pediatrics.
• Building and maintaining extensive referral relationships with community surgeons.

Qualifications & Skills

• Medical degree and eligibility for North Carolina medical licensure.
• Board-eligible or certified in Hematology/Oncology.
• Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills.
