Description:

Medical Oncology Locums Opportunity in Danville, IL - $5,500 Daily

This is a Medical Oncology position in Danville, IL, involving clinic work with inpatient rounding coverage and daily call duties. The details are as follows:

Coverage Need/Schedule Details: ASAP - Ongoing. Provider must be able to cover a minimum of one week at a time.

• Tuesday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM inpatient, followed by clinic from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM
• Call coverage from 4:30 PM to 8:00 AM, Tuesday to Friday

Submission Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year experience - REQUIRED
• Active IL License or IMLC - REQUIRED
• CSR License - REQUIRED
• Provider must supervise APPs - REQUIRED
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS - REQUIRED

Practice Description:

• Perform admissions, H&Ps, follow-ups, consults, and rounding
• Make hospital rounds before clinic hours (8:00-9:00 AM)
• See patients in clinic from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Solo coverage with support staff including RNs and Nurse Navigators
• Total patient load (Clinic + Inpatient): approximately 10 patients
• Clinic primarily for patients in therapy; no new patients seen by locums
• Procedures: possible bone marrow aspirates if needed
• Must treat AML, but no new AML cases
• Average admissions while on call: 5
• EMR: Epic

Compensation is highly competitive at $5,500 daily.
