Opportunity:
- Seeking a full-time or part-time Medical Oncologist and/or Hematologist to join our renowned cancer center, serving as the primary hub for top-tier cancer care across the southern coast of Oregon.
- Accepting part-time (48 hours per pay period) and full-time (80 hours per pay period) candidates.
- BE (within 2 years)/BC in Medical Oncology and/or Hematology.
- Experience practicing Radiation Oncology with a strong record (or an excellent recent graduate) is preferred.
- Demographics for this area are roughly 20% Hematology, 80% Oncology.
- Average number of patients per day in the clinic/office: 10-15.
- No inpatient consults; only outpatient clinic visits and collaboration with infusion services.
- Features include a new 19-chair infusion room, onsite mixing pharmacy, nurse navigation, and onsite radiation oncology.
- Work schedule: 8-hour days, with a 1:4 call schedule primarily for critical lab calls.
- Services offered include cardiology, radiology, oncology, emergency care, surgical care (including bariatrics and robotics), critical care, inpatient psychiatry, wound care with hyperbaric medicine, primary care, pediatrics, OB, and home health.
