Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking a Hematology-Oncology Physician for locum tenens coverage in North Carolina. Schedule is 3 days per week, 8:30 AM–4:30 PM, outpatient clinic, treating benign hematology cases with some malignant cases. About 12–16 patients per day; credentialing in 60–90 days; Epic EMR.

Board Certified with Fellowship required; NC medical license active. AMN provides malpractice insurance and arranges travel and lodging as part of the opportunity.

Hematology - Oncology Physician

StartDate: ASAP Pay Rate: $388.00 - $420.00

This facility is seeking a Hematology - Oncology Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details and requirements for this opportunity:

Schedule: 3 days per week, 8:30 AM–4:30 PM. Scheduled clinical hours only, with no after-hours or weekend call coverage.

Practice Setting: Outpatient hematology and oncology clinic.

Types of Cases: Established follow-up patients and new benign hematology consultations, primarily benign hematologic diseases, with a small number of malignant cases possible.

Patient Volume: Approximately 12–16 patients per day; the assignment details list 15 patients per shift.

Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 60–90 days.

Electronic Medical Record: Epic.

Certifications Required: Board Certified, Fellowship required.

Licensure Required: Active North Carolina medical license required
