Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking a Hematology-Oncology physician for locum tenens coverage in Maryland. The role is inpatient with a Monday–Friday 8a–4p schedule and night/weekend call, handling breast, lung, colon, prostate, melanoma, lymphoma, and hematology cases.

Board certification and BLS are required, with active Maryland or IMLC licensure and Meditech EMR experience preferred. AMN provides malpractice insurance arrangements and travel, lodging, and transportation coordination for contractors.

• Board-certified hematology-oncology physician required.
• Active Maryland licensure or IMLC.
• BLS certification required.
• EMR experience with Meditech preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient hematology-oncology care.
• Manage cases including breast, lung, colon, prostate, melanoma, lymphoma, and hematology conditions.
• Schedule: Mon–Fri 8a–4p with night and weekend call.

• Types of Cases: breast, lung, colon, prostate, melanoma, lymphoma and hematology cases
• Credentialing Timeframe: 0-30 days
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Meditech
• Certifications required: Board Certification and Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Licensure required: Active Maryland or Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC)
