Job Opportunity: Physician - Oncology

VHS is seeking a qualified Physician - Oncology for a temporary assignment in Beckley, WV.

• Location: Beckley, WV
• Start Date: August 1, 2025
• End Date: October 31, 2025
• Duration: 13 Weeks
• Shift: 8 Hours Day shift, M-F with inpatient call every 3rd week

Responsibilities:

• Provide oncology care at the Cancer Center using Cerner EMR system
• Perform procedures such as bone marrow biopsies
• Support staff including nurses, CMAs, and APPs
• Manage approximately 15 patients per day, ages 18 and up

Qualifications:

• Board Certification in Oncology
• State license and DEA registration
• Oncology Fellowship, BLS, ACLS certifications
• 3-5 years of experience in oncology

Additional Details:

• Willing to obtain a temporary license with a clean background
• Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
• 1099 pay rate: $507.00 per day
