Job summary

Penn Medicine is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider in hematology-oncology to join the Abramson Cancer Center's Oncology Evaluation Center. The APP will perform history taking, physical exams, and procedures, collaborate with physicians and nursing staff, participate in research, and ensure regulatory compliance while delivering high-quality patient care.

BLS and ACLS are required.

Responsibilities

Provides direct clinical care for patient population according to established protocols in collaboration with team.
Maintains accurate and confidential medical records in the EHR.
Identifies role to patient and family; clarifies NP/PA responsibilities.
Works within scope and contacts supervising physician when outside scope or requested.
Participates in performance improvement processes to meet quality standards.
Demonstrates professional responsibility and serves as a role model.
Performs procedures per patient status and scope.
Addresses patient/family concerns and provides education.
