Job summary

Sutter Health’s Sutter Medical Group in Jackson, CA, seeks a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a dynamic Hematology/Oncology team. You will work with oncologists, hematologists, and APPs in both outpatient and inpatient settings, managing a range of hematologic and oncologic conditions.

Relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits are offered; Epic is used for clinical documentation and patient care coordination.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited NP or PA program with national certification.
• California licensure eligibility required for NP/PA practice.
• Strong communication and teamwork in multidisciplinary settings.
• National certification (AANP/ANCC/NCCPA) is required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with oncologists, hematologists, and care team in outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Provide care for patients with solid tumors, anemia, thrombocytopenia, and coagulopathies.
• Participate in new patient consults, follow-up, symptom management and survivorship planning.
• Engage in tumor boards, education, and research support via SIMR.
