Prime Healthcare Illinois Medical Group is seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our Hematology/Oncology team at Evanston. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a collaborative, patient-centered environment delivering comprehensive cancer care to a diverse patient population.

The role requires an IL-licensed NP with AGNP or FNP certification; oncology experience is preferred. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in Illinois.
• Certification as an Adult-Gerontology or Family Nurse Practitioner (AGNP/FNP).
• Oncology nursing experience strongly preferred; new graduates with oncology RN background may be considered.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Bilingual skills a plus, especially Spanish or Ukrainian.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct patient care in outpatient Hematology/Oncology settings under physician supervision.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop treatment plans, and manage care for oncology and hematology patients.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and monitor treatment response.
• Educate patients and families about diagnosis, treatment options, side effects, and ongoing care.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other care team members to coordinate patient-centered care.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation using EMR systems.
