Job summary

Novellis Health in Flushing, NY seeks a compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join the Hematology/Oncology team. You will deliver care across diagnosis, treatment, and survivorship, working with physicians and a multidisciplinary team. The role supports infusion therapies and symptom management.

The position is full-time with either five 8-hour days or four 10-hour days, offering a collaborative environment and access to comprehensive benefits. NY NP licensure and oncology certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited NP program; Master's or Doctorate in Nursing required.
• Board certification as NP in NY State.
• Oncology/Hematology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments including history and exam for benign and malignant hematologic conditions and solid tumors.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with hematologists/oncologists.
• Prescribe and adjust chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapies, anticoagulants and supportive meds.
• Order labs and imaging; monitor response and adverse events.
• Coordinate longitudinal infusion-based care (transfusions, iron infusions, chemo, targeted therapies).
• Document encounters in EMR; participate in quality improvement and education.
