Job summary
UPMC Hillman Cancer Center in York, PA seeks a Hematologist/Oncologist to diagnose and treat malignant hematologic disorders, including leukemia, lymphoma, and myeloma. This role involves inpatient and outpatient care, participation in clinical trials, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
The ideal candidate will hold MD or DO, board certification or eligibility in Hematology/Oncology, possess an active PA medical license, and have strong clinical and research experience with
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Board certification/eligibility in Hematology and/or Oncology.
- Valid medical license to practice in PA or eligible for licensing.
- Strong clinical and research background in malignant hematology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat patients with malignant hematologic disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Participate in clinical research and trials.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in hematology and oncology.
