Job summary

All-StarHealthcare Solutions is seeking a Hematology/Oncology physician for a locum tenens assignment in North Carolina. The role involves seeing follow-up patients, managing orders and prescriptions, and coordinating with pharmacies.

Start is January for six months, with 3–4 weeks per month shifts and occasional night/weekend calls. Ideal candidates hold an MD with Hem/Onc board certification or eligibility.

Qualifications

• MD board-eligible or board-certified in Hem/Onc preferred.
• NC license strongly preferred; IMLC accepted.
• Locum Tenens availability for 6 months starting Jan.
• NC state practice and hospital privileges required or anticipated.

Responsibilities

• Follow up and evaluate new and established patients.
• Write orders and prescriptions as needed for patient care.
• Communicate with pharmacy and care teams to coordinate therapy.
• Focus on benign hematology and common Hem/Onc conditions.
