Job summary

LocumTenens.com is seeking a physician for an on-site, outpatient hematology/oncology assignment in North Carolina. The clinician will work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, on a schedule of 4 to 4.5 days per week, with a flexible half-day option. The role includes 20–25 patient encounters daily, with 15-minute visit slots.

• Board certification required.
• Hematology/oncology specialty.
• Adult patient population (onsite outpatient care).

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site outpatient hematology/oncology coverage, Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, 4–4.5 days per week with a flexible half-day.
• Manage 20–25 patient encounters per day with 15-minute intervals.
• Share phone-only call coverage among physicians and support staff.
