Job summary

Vanderbilt Health in Nashville, TN is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator to support oncology protocols in the Holowatyj Laboratory & Team. You will coordinate approval processes, consent, enrollment, randomization, and study conduct following GCP guidelines.

With guidance, you will maintain documentation, communicate with investigators and sponsors, assist with study closeout, and ensure timeliness and accuracy of data across multiple sites and regulatory bodies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience) required.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.
• <1 year professional research experience required.
• Prior experience coordinating hematology/oncology studies preferred.
• Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication required.

Responsibilities

• Conveys knowledge of policies and regulations governing human subjects research in study conduct.
• Prepares and processes IRB proposals, amendments, continuing reviews, and adverse event reports.
• Maintains study documentation and ensures accurate data collection and entry.
• Coordinates participant eligibility, recruitment, enrollment, and randomization.
• Shop participates in site visits and regulatory reviews.
• Manages communications with investigators, sponsors, and regulatory bodies.
• Assists with study budget, invoicing, and regulatory compliance.
• Supports study closeout and archiving of essential documents.
