Job summary

MercyOne Genesis Cancer Care in Davenport, IA is seeking an Oncology Nurse Practitioner to join a physician-led team with inpatient hospitalist support. Coverage includes Davenport with potential needs in Clinton and Silvis as needed.

The ideal candidate holds an NP license and current NP certification; oncology experience preferred. Licensure in Iowa/Illinois and US work eligibility (H-1B sponsorship) are required. Comprehensive benefits accompany this full-time opportunity.

Qualifications

• Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner.
• Preferred: Oncology experience as a Nurse Practitioner (1 year).

Qualifications

  • Alternative qualification: Minimum of 3 years of oncology RN experience with current Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN®) certification

• Ability to obtain and maintain an unrestricted license to practice in both Iowa and Illinois
• Current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications consistent with scope of practice

The MercyOne Genesis Cancer Care, accredited by the NAPBC, the NQMBC, the CoC and the ACOS, is seeking an additional Oncology experienced APP to join our team of 4 Physicians, 2 Nurse Practitioners and experienced clinical/non-clinical staff. MercyOne Genesis Cancer Care offers a full range of innovative treatments, technology and educational resources. We offer collaborative services for our patients such as; radiation oncology, infusion resources, genetic testing, surgical intervention (including robotics) clinical trials, tumor boards, dieticians, and cancer navigators. We are a community-based hospital program; locally operated with clinics in Davenport and Clinton, Iowa and Silvis, Illinois.
