Job summary

The MercyOne Genesis Cancer Care in Davenport, IA is expanding its Oncology APP team. This full-time position focuses on patient-centered oncology care, supported by a physician-led group and a hospitalist team for inpatient needs.

Remote work is not described; license eligibility includes Iowa and Illinois, with PSLF eligibility and strong emphasis on work-life balance. Qualified NPs with oncology experience and NP certification are encouraged to apply; a $10,000 commencement bonus and a $3,000

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner.
• Preferred: Minimum of 1 year of oncology experience as a Nurse Practitioner.
• Alternative qualification: Minimum of 3 years of oncology RN experience with OCN certification.
• Candidates who do not meet the above oncology experience requirements will not be considered at this time.

Where you’ll work

The MercyOne Genesis Cancer Care, accredited by the NAPBC, the NQMBC, the CoC and the ACOS, is seeking an additional Oncology experienced APP to join our team of 4 Physicians, 2 Nurse Practitioners and experienced clinical/non-clinical staff. MercyOne Genesis Cancer Care offers a full range of innovative treatments, technology and educational resources. We offer collaborative services for our patients such as; radiation oncology, infusion resources, genetic testing, surgical intervention (including robotics) clinical trials, tumor boards, dieticians, and cancer navigators. We are a community-based hospital program; locally operated with clinics in Davenport and Clinton, Iowa and Silvis, Illinois.
